THE BIG QUESTION - is a one-hour TV program from South Africa, featuring a heated exchange between Sam Mhlongo and David Rasnick and two prominent spokespersons for the HIV/AIDS establishment. The topic is the efficacy of anti-retroviral drugs. Near the beginning, reporters conduct brief interviews, and it is impossible to not notice how sick those who are "medicated" with "life-saving" ARVs look, and how well those who are not taking the drugs appear.

Professor Mhlongo perished tragically in a road accident in October of last year. Joan Shenton spoke with him at length in South Africa at the time of the Presidential panel discussions in July, 2000, when the first, important resistance to WHO/IMF/World Bank - promoted HIV/AIDS was announced, and provoked a self-righteous, international fury that has yet to subside.
